Usually when I see error 1719, I recommend that the user try to repair the Windows Installer service. Again, just go to Services and right click on Windows Installer and choose Restart. Once you rename it, then you can restart the Windows Installer service. If it is only for the Blackberry desktop software, I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to see if they have any known issues or patches that you can try.
What happens if you just double-click on msirepair.reg? Contact your support personnel for assistance. I carried out a sfc /scannow I de-registered and re-registered MSIEXEC; %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister I even changed HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSIServer to C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\msiexec.exe /V But still could not install.
