Still getting the dreaded err msg. My problem was from Drive Image, got message 30+ times when opening. I found that this message was due to a removable disk, in my case a SanDisk Card Reader, trying to read from a card that wasn't there. It's been killing me this last fortnight.

that error went away! I put a memory card in the card reaader's drive D: and rebooted the computer with the card still plugged in.
