Tomcat will not be able to startup if "Java Virtual machine" is set to drive:\Program files\Java\jre6\bin\client\jvm.dll Change "Java Virtual machine" to drive:\Program files\Java\jre1.5.0_15\bin\client\jvm.dll Try to startup Apache Tomcat again.
